Twenty two states that banned texting while driving also offer some kind of traffic awareness service that drivers can access through their (wait for it) cell phones, according to the AP.

Some of the most convoluted laws in the land are those relating to property boundaries. God help the poor bastards living in the 1/100ths mile of a property line because you can be on one side or the other, depending on the douchebags running your local government.

One woman in Buffalo who had been paying taxes to the city for years was suddenly told she can’t vote, according to the Buffalo News.

A mother wants the state to require new drivers to put signs in their windows warning other drivers that the person behind the wheel is a “newly licensed” driver, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

One couple were arrested on drug charges for protesting pot laws by bringing a pot plant into City Hall, according to The Times Union.

A town in California did just that when it shut down a little girl’s lemonade stand for operating without a permit, according to the Fresno Bee.

Why does Florida seemingly have all of the dumb laws in this country? If you live in Florida, probably the best way to afford any kind of misdemeanor or felony charge is to just sit in your room, take a breath exactly every 10 seconds and not make eye contact with any other living object. Good job citizen!

Apparently, two people are facing charges for posting pictures of themselves flashing gang signs on their MySpace page because it promotes gang activity, according to the Naples Daily News.
