A Camera Says a Thousand Words
Ah, you’ve got to love the ineptitude and inefficiency of government. Seriously, you have to, it’s the law.
Police in Louisiana are no longer using their speed cameras because it kept pulling over a government vehicle, according to TheNewspaper.com.
Specifically, the camera kept giving tickets to the speed camera van and eventually had its ticket overturned by the local police. Where I come from, that’s called not setting a good example…and I’m from Louisiana.
Eventually the local government gave up on the project because of “a recent series of events.” They didn’t say how recent.
