Two U.S. senators are trying to pass a bill that would make it illegal to crossbreed animals with humans through genetic cloning, according to Kansas City Star.
The bill has been named the “Human-Animal Hybrid Prohibition Act,” which means we can expect a lawsuit from the Jim Rose Circus for copyright infringement.
Sen. Sam Brownback, the author of the bill, said on his website that this legislation “works to ensure that our society recognizes the dignity and sacredness of human life.” He also added, “It also eliminates the need for people to carry dangerous and unnecessary concealed weapons or manufacture silver bullets, which as we all know is the only way to kill werewolves.”
