I’ve got nothing against dogs myself. Frankly, I prefer them to cats who I believe are actually nature’s bitches. But this law has me pawing at my brain.

According to The London Times, the town of Tuscany, Italy is close to passing a law that would allow dogs into just about everything.

One lawmaker claims the law is “breaking down the barriers that separate Man from his best friends.” Does he mean women?

The law would allow them into just about any establishments: museums, restaurants, stores, probably even movie theaters, which is good news for the blind. Wait, never mind.

Pets will have to be checked out by a veterinarian and may have to be muzzled if they aren’t approved. No wonder on whether their owners will also need to be checked out.
