The Election is Officially an Election
No election, whether it’s the presidential election or the fifth grade class president election at Bumbledick Junior High, is complete without a little scandal. And we’ve got a scandal that’s so juicy, it’ll make you chubby.
The “exclusive” on Barack Obama’s law history comes to us courtesy of Politico.
The story that states that while Obama was president of the Harvard Law Review, he debated a case over whether or not fetuses should have the right to sue their mothers for having an abortion. In case you’re wondering, no this isn’t “The Twilight Zone.” There’s also nothing on the wing of the plane and you’re not Hitler, as far as I know.
His position on the matter? Hell no. I believe that’s a legal term.
He claimed that allowing such legal authority to fetuses would “violate the mother’s rights and could, perversely, cause her to take more risks with her pregnancy.” It’s also rather painful, I imagine, to conduct a 200 panel voir dire in a uterus.
